‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 spoilers: Where will Juice place his trust?
At this very moment on “Sons of Anarchy” season 5, Juice really just should feel lucky to be alive. Jax discovered his status as a rat during the ninth episode of the season, and this week he lucked out (sort of) in that the current SAMCRO head is using him to dig up as much nasty dirt on Clay as possible. Anything to get an edge, right? The problem is that we already know Clay has a reputation … and there’s no guarantee that Jax would keep a traitor alive even if he fulfills his purpose here without any problem.
For Theo Rossi, this is going to make for a rather complicated situation moving onto the next new episode: if he works with Clay, he has to hope that Ron Perlman’s character will actually end up protecting him. Meanwhile, siding with Jax means that he is willing to trust the guy enough to not kill him when his use has run out. Speaking in a chat with TV Guide, Rossi explained the dilemma further by saying the following:
“He doesn’t want to die, and he doesn’t want to be thrown out of the club … At this point, it’s about survival. He’s going to go with whatever side makes surviving more appealing.”
If Juice somehow manages to survive to the end of this season, it will certainly come across as a shock; meanwhile, it would be an even greater shock if we somehow manage to see both him and Clay make it to the end credits in a few weeks. (Heck, we still don’t know how Clay is alive now.)
Do you think that any more of our series regulars will fall in the coming weeks?
