‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Brandi Glanville skewers LeAnn Rimes … again
It seems like barely a few days goes by without some sort of controversial comment from Brandi Glanville, and now the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star is going after someone who is a frequent opponent of hers over the past few years: LeAnn Rimes, who famously cheated with Brandi’s then-husband Eddie Cibrian while the two were working on a Lifetime original movie together. This ended up leading to Cibrian and Glanville’s divorce, and a bitter feud has existed ever since.
On Monday night’s new “Watch What Happens Live!” episode, Andy Cohen actually asked her what was a pretty fascinating question: is Rimes now jealous of her thanks to her status as a popular reality star? Brandi, of course, was colorful with her response:
“I don’t know the answer to that. I’m not in her head … I think she was jealous of me before [I was on the show].”
Following this, Glanville also said that Rimes went to “Twee-hab” due to her inability to handle criticism, and then went on to explain that this in her mind is really just rehab for people who are having problems with social media abuse. This word choice itself was actually not the problem so much as the condescending way in which Brandi said it, almost as though she was better than Rimes for being able to take comments online without getting her feelings hurt as much.
Glanville’s comments were met with gasps throughout the crowd, and Cohen was forced to rush in and repeat over and over again that these comments were alleged, and were not meant to be treated as fact.
What do you think about Brandi’s comments: are they justified, or mean-spirited?
