‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Nina Dobrev and the worst shower ever

Want another look at Thursday night’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4? While the previous sneak peek showed us a pretty interesting conversation between Elena, Stefan, and Klaus, this video below is really just about Nina Dobrev’s Elena, and what happens when you start hallucinating after killing a vampire hunter.

Strangely, this scene below (which was first posted by TVLine) feels almost like it is coming straight out of “Psycho,” even if we are not watching anyone get killed. Instead, Elena is just starting to see blood in her shower of all places, and she is quickly stunned by it even though she already had a similar sort of graphic hallucination at the end of last episode where the words “killer” were written in her favorite new treat.

So is there any way to make these visions vanish? We figure it either must be giving it some time and waiting for them to stop or some form of alternate cure … which may be where Klaus comes into play here. The man seems to be an expert on The Five (or at least more so than anyone else), and he may be able to provide the information that helps to restore her to her typically sane self. Why would he do this? Remember: while the motivation may not be there for Klaus to help everyone, it is definitely there to help Elena given that she is someone he needs alive (and human again) in order to continue his sick quest to build a massive army of hybrids.
