‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Who knows about Nina Dobrev’s secret?
During the first promo for next week’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, there was one major revelation: Elena is going to be seeing things that may or may not be actually there, whether it be blood coming out of her shower, or even the appearance of an old enemy (and doppelganger) in Katherine.
So who else is going to know about what is happening to her? She seems to have told Stefan, but Klaus seems to have figured this out all on his own. In a new sneak peek from the episode below, you can see him drop by Elena’s doorstep after more or less saying that he has some sort of knowledge as to what she is going through. He also suggests that the next move for him and the Salvatores to make is trying to find the next person with connections to The Five; they have to be out there somewhere, and one of them does hold the secret to curing vampirism and actually giving the undead to rise again.
This is where the interesting question comes in: does the death of one hunter lead to the creation of another? Judging from the tattoos that showed up on Jeremy’s hand in the closing seconds of the episode, it could be very well possible that he actually is the new member of The Five, and thus could be the one to save his sister without even knowing it. Even if this is true, though, he has yet to tell anyone about what he is going through … and if it stays that way, nobody really has much of a chance.

I think that they should have given Elena at least one whole season of being a vampire before bringing up the cure. If there is one, then more people than just Elena should be allowed to turn back, Stefan not just for Elena, but because he would welcome the chance to be human again and have a human life, Elijah probably, would probably welcome the chance to be human (he’s still got time to find a nice girl, who is NOT a Petrova and have a family), maybe Damon and /or Rebekah, and Klaus, just for the irony.
