‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Heather Morris, Chord Overstreet, and ‘Glee, Actually’

There are a number of strange things about the latest press release sent out about “Glee” season 4 by Fox. First things first, the show is actually airing their Thanksgiving episode a week after Thanksgiving for whatever reason (even though they are airing a new episode on the holiday itself). In addition to that, the movie that serves as the inspiration for the upcoming Christmas episode may not be “It’s a Wonderful Life,” after all.

Let’s start with the synopsis for the November 29 episode “Thanksgiving,” whcih gives us a little bit of a greater indication as to what Lea Michele and Chris Colfer are going to each be up to in the Big Apple.

“It’s time for Sectionals, and New Directions receives guidance from some of the recent McKinley graduates who volunteer to mentor the glee club during their Thanksgiving breaks. Meanwhile, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) have a non-traditional holiday dinner in the Big Apple.”

In moving forward from there, “Glee, Actually” is going to contain all sorts of surprises, whether it be that bizarre photo featuring Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet seemingly getting married or some surprise guest stars:

“In a tribute to the film ‘Love, Actually,’ seemingly separate storylines come together as one holiday-themed episode, in which Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany (Heather Morris) live their lives to the fullest before the much-heralded Mayan Apocalypse occurs. Meanwhile, Jake (Jacob Artist) and Puck (Mark Salling) spend quality sibling time together for Hanukkah  Artie (Kevin McHale) has a holiday dream that changes his outlook on life and Kurt has a Christmas he’ll never forget.”

“Glee” did do a rather smart thing of not disclosing one secret in either one of these releases: the list of guest stars. We know that Dianna Agron should be coming back for one of the two for sure, and we’re also hearing talk about another actor returning who has not been featured on the show this season … though at the moment, this is really all we can say.

Be sure to come back after Thursday night’s new episode airs, as we are going to have a full review, as soon as possible.
