Supernatural season 15 episode 9 promo: Sam & the future
The promo below is stuffed full of all sorts of content, but most of it is courtesy of Sam Winchester and some of what’s going on with him. He’s with Chuck/God at the moment, and it seems as though he’s got a front-row seat to some visions of the future … or at least Chuck’s visions/what he wants Sam to see. How much of the future is fate? How much of God’s plan is real? Not that we are in the final season of the show, it does seem as though the series is asking all sorts of tough questions.
As for what else we know is coming up, we know that there’s some pretty crazy stuff going down in regards to Dean and Castiel at the moment. The two are in purgatory, and while we don’t know how long that story will go on, at least we’ve got it for a small window of time.
In general, we think that the writers are in a position now where they’re going to have to move quickly on just about everything. There’s not that much time left in the final season and, because of that, there are a lot of different boxes that the writers are going to need to check off. There are also some more potential cameos that we’re going to have a chance to see, as well. If we had it our way, the final season would be a pretty-glorious combination of nostalgia and then also high stakes and issues impacting the Winchester brothers in the now.
We’re gonna miss this show when it’s gone … but we’re also going to have a lot of time in order to wax poetic about it.
