‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: The latest Peter Pan / Tinkerbell update
We already know that “Once Upon a Time” season 2 has managed quite a casting coup courtesy of Captain Hook … but does that mean that Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are going to be on the way next? In a recent interview, showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis said that these two characters are definitely fair game to surface in Storybrooke at some point, it has not happened yet. In addition to that, we have yet to hear any plans that they will be appearing.
For the latest update on this very subject, we turn to someone who undoubtedly knows more about this than anyone else: Captain Hook himself. Speaking in an interview with E! News, the show, which is currently shooting the eleventh episode of the new season, has yet to really even talk with him about bringing Pan, Tinkerbell, or anyone else other than who they have with both him and Snee.
For now, Hook is instead going to focus primarily on trying to enact his revenge on Rumpelstiltskin for taking away his hand, and that means getting back to Storybrooke as soon as possible. The one reason for holding back on Pan for the time being seems to be rather simple: there is already enough going on when it comes to the story. Why introduce too many characters at one time? For now, we have a feeling that producers are keeping this in their back pocket for the time being, and thus readying it to release into their whenever it is needed.
Do you think we should see any other character from the “Once Upon a Time” universe this season on the show?
