The Bachelor spoilers: More ‘turbulence’ on Peter Weber’s season
In this, you get reminded that this season featuring pilot Peter Weber is going to be stuffed full of drama. We’re going to have a chance to see him take the bull by the horns for this season … but also get a little bit too ambitious at the same time. Think of it this way — he is intimate with someone and needs to confess it to someone else. Also, there is heartbreak, arguing, drama, and then of course Hannah Brown.
The way that ABC is promoting The Bachelor at the moment is rather interesting. Just think about it using the following terms. Why emphasize Hannah so much when the majority of viewers know that it’s all a fake-out? Sure, there are little quotes in here about how she knows there is “something there” between the two of them, but Hannah was a part of Dancing with the Stars. If anything, we’d just argue that the purpose of Hannah is to stir up so much other conflict throughout the house. There are going to be a lot of women who could be understandably insecure by her presence — she’s got such a history with Peter and that won’t be forgotten.
Luckily for the women, we don’t think she will be around for anything more than a tiny fraction of time. We don’t even know if she will meet all of the women on Peter’s season. She’ll be around for the premiere, there will be some drama, and after that, we imagine that the series will shift back to the same stuff we’ve seen from it time and time again.
The Bachelor is one of the biggest cash cows for ABC. Because of that, we have a feeling that we’ll be seeing and hearing a whole lot more about the show before it premieres. We’d like for it, if nothing else, to have a little more of a positive end than what we saw with Hannah and Jed over the summer.
