To date, NCIS: New Orleans has been rather cagey when it comes to releasing information from their upcoming fall finale — and for good reason. They know that this is a high-stakes situation with Pride and the team taking on Eddie Barrett. They also know that they don’t want to give too many spoilers away in advance.

The promo below, as you would expect, only scratches the surface of some of the conflict that is coming. The good news is that Barrett hasn’t killed Pride or the rest of his people — it wasn’t looking good at the end of this past episode. He was seemingly outnumbered at the compound, and we don’t know how you calm that situation unless you are threatening some sort of substantial military backup. Pride is probably going to have to outsmart everyone, in addition to trying to find a way to get himself out of this situation. There are a lot of different elements to this case, but we do hope closure is coming sooner rather than later. The longer that this case drags out, after all, the more challenging it’s going to be for the NCIS: New Orleans team to handle it. Because it’s tied so much to Lasalle, it’s going to be hard to view this case in the same way as so many others. It’s going to be a painful, emotional process for the team to deal with … and we just hope that there is closure on the other side.
Also, we hope that there’s some closure given that there is a longer-than-usual hiatus coming and, after the fact, the series is going to be moving to a new timeslot on Sunday nights. We’ll have more news coming up after the fact, so stay tuned once the installment airs.
