The Masked Singer season 3 reveals first costume — the Banana Mask!
In a new post on Instagram this week, the Fox unveiled that the Banana Mask is the first costume from the new season. Not only that, but they unveiled it in a rather funny fashion with the character seemingly duct-taped to a wall. This is a clear reference to the art exhibit from Maurizio Cattelan located at Art Basel Miami Beach, one that featured a real banana taped to a wall. All of the headlines around this were ridiculous, and we imagine that the folks over at The Masked Singer saw this as an opportunity to get a little bit more press for themselves — and they were smart to take that on.

The third season of The Masked Singer is going to feature a number of other colorful characters, as well, and it’s going to premiere following the Super Bowl in February. We wouldn’t be shocked if there is some enormous celebrity who ends up getting unmasked in the first episode — just remember that there will be tens of millions of viewers watching in that given moment!
As for season 2, there are some more unmasking moments still to come. After all, there are two different ones that are coming on Fox tonight, and that leads into the big finale that will be airing next week. Who will win? We’re not sure that even matters since, in the end, this is a show mostly about just having some fun.
