Ratings: The Blacklist steady; Hawaii Five-0, Blue Bloods slip
Let’s start things off here by giving you the first numbers for The Blacklist last night, as the Megan Boone – James Spader series ended up drawing a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic to go along with almost 3.7 million viewers. These numbers are at least reasonably in line with the week prior, though they are down slightly in total viewers.
In general, we remain hopeful for a Blacklist renewal, if for no other reason than that this show is staying reasonably steady at a time in which there aren’t many other programs doing the same thing. It’s down less than 11% in the demo and less than 5% in live viewers versus last season, and that’s a decrease that is pretty small in comparison to other shows out there.

As for who ended up winning the night in the demo, we basically had a three-way tie across the board. Hawaii Five-0, Blue Bloods, and Magnum PI all ended up generating the same number in the demo — 0.6. Meanwhile, Blue Bloods won the night in total viewers, which is a trend that we’ve come to expect at this point.
Over on The CW, Charmed and Dynasty drew a 0.2 and a 0.1 rating — and we’re still shocked that the numbers for the latter are what they are and it’s still a part of the schedule overall.
