‘Jersey Shore’: Snooki, JWoww, The Situation to give back after Hurricane Sandy
A natural disaster typically has a tendency to bring all sorts of people together, and it really does not matter whether or not you are a reality TV star or someone who has never appeared in a single episode of a show. The latest example of this very thing? Seeing how some people across the state of New Jersey along with the “Jersey Shore” cast are doing what they can to work together to get the region back up on its feet.
Some of the cast members have lined out in detail what they are going to be doing to give back to the relief effort, whereas some others chose more to speak about the general state of devastation and how they hope all of their neighbors are merely save at the moment. Here are some of the highlights from Twitter.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi – “Cleaning my closet today to donate clothes and whatever I can do the victims affected by sandy! I’m comin with clothes!!!!”
Jenni “JWoww” Farley – “Just landed [back in New Jersey] … On my way home to see this for myself. Waking up early as hell to start the clean up process.” JWoww also posted a photo showing that it is even impossible at the moment to even drive to Seaside Heights, where the show is set, as a good part of the city has been greatly ravaged by the storm.
Sammi Giancola (on Halloween) – “Still in awe over what has happened. Happy Halloween to everyone maybe we all can give clothes food and help instead of candy this year to the people that need it most.”
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino – “This is Sad, The Jersey Shore, wow, if there is anything to do I will try and I hope you guys do as well! Sitch”
Out of all of the cast members, Deena Cortese appears to have it the worst, as she has not tweeted in days as a way to save the power on her phone. Remember, if you want to give back the best way you can do so is by contacting your local Red Cross or visiting their website.
