God Friended Me season 2 episode 10 sneak peek: Cara & Miles’ future
If you recall, on this past episode Cara saw her entire life thrown into disarray when the God Account suggested her stepfather. This led to Miles going into overdrive to try and resolve a situation, one that led eventually to him going to prison amidst an insider-trading operation. Miles’ actions, most notably him going against Cara’s wishes at times, have her feeling as though he is choosing the God Account over her.
As you would imagine, all of this is extremely problematic for the two, and it is also the focus of the new sneak peek below. In here, Cara confirms with Miles that she wants to step away from the God Account. She understands that he was doing what he thought was right, but that doesn’t mean that she loved his decision-making and communication along the way. This does make her apprehensive about their relationship moving forward, and it may not help that Miles seems to still be so on-board with Friend Suggestions. (By the end of this episode, though, Miles will start to contemplate leaving the Account behind himself.)
There is one major question that Cara has that we think is a more-than-valid one — why didn’t the God Account come to them about her stepfather sooner? If it had, there was a way that they could’ve prevented some of this from ever happening to begin with. She doesn’t feel like the account really has her back anymore, and that is a perfectly-valid reason for wanting to walk away. It seems to know and see everything and yet, it couldn’t seem to figure out the ramifications for this particular situation.
Maybe there will be some closure within this particular episode as to what the future will be; or, the other possibility is that there will be a painful cliffhanger coming as we move into the new year.
