Evil episode 10 spoilers: A dangerous Christmas song

Evil

As we move into Evil episode 10 on CBS next week, we’re going to have a chance to celebrate a little Christmas! Yet, this is a very different sort of Christmas than we’re really used to seeing on some other shows.

Instead, this is the holiday season Evil-style, and this is the sort of show willing to take some chances on some really crazy stuff. Take, for example, a Christmas song that may be having some dangerous side effects. This is an installment that feels like it’s also taking a few cues from Black Mirror, at least when it comes to exploring the odd relationship that there is between young people and technology.

For some more insight, be sure to check out the Evil episode 10 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

“7 Swans a Singin’” – Kristen, David and Ben are called to investigate an insidiously addictive Christmas song that’s spreading among an increasing number of students, and the dangerous relationship between online influencers and their impressionable young followers, on EVIL, Thursday, Dec. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This is the sort of episode that we’d love to get from Evil every single week, and we also think that it’s coming at 100% the perfect time. Just think about it this way — at the time this installment is airing, there isn’t going to be a lot of other shows out there in the timeslot. It’s going to have a chance to pick up some viewers, and it also won’t be competing against the Dallas Cowboys. That’s the sort of evil that the show is, unfortunately, stuck with tonight. We’ve seen time and time again what sort of ratings challenges come with that.

Even though this show may already have a season 2 renewal, remember this — watching live is the only way to ensure that Evil sticks around.
