Supernatural season 15 episode 8 spoilers: The goal to beat Chuck

Supernatural season 13 poster

Entering Supernatural season 15 episode 8, let’s just say that there will be some incredibly important stuff. How can there not be, when you consider that there’s a search to stop Chuck on the horizon?

From the very beginning this season, we’ve witnessed Sam, Dean, and Castiel all do their part in order to ensure that they can defeat the biggest threat they’ve ever faced: God himself. How in the world do you contend with that? How do you topple someone who feels unstoppable? Well, that’s going to be a big part of this story. It’s all been building towards this so far, and it feels like the time is nigh for some surprise appearances and big-time twists.

This is the final midseason finale of the series, and it’s true that this is something weighing heavily on our head. We don’t want to see this show go anywhere! Yet, all things must come to an end and we think that the writers have found the perfect setup for the end of the series. (Granted, to us quintessential Supernatural is always going to be seeing Sam, Dean, and Castiel work to take down smaller-scale threats.)

Below, CarterMatt has the full Supernatural season 15 episode 8 synopsis with some more insight all about what’s coming:

GOD BLESSES HIM WHO HELPS HIS BROTHER – Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel’s (Misha Collins) continued search for a way to defeat Chuck (guest star Rob Benedict) leads them to unexpected places and toward unlikely allies. Richard Speight, Jr. directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#1508). Original Airdate 12/12/2019.

One of the things we know about Supernatural in the new year is that eventually, we’ll see the show move to a new timeslot in Monday night. It’s almost ironic that a show known for changing timeslots throughout its run would end up doing it one last time before the series ends, right? We know that the #SPNFamily will follow it … that’s the only reason that the show is here in the first place.

Based on the promo for next week’s episode, it seems like Adam is going to be someone who the Winchesters go to. They know that God is weak and, beyond that, this could be the right time to take him on.
