Little House on the Prairie season 2 premiere date hopes

Following the launch on season 1 today, what can we say when it comes to a Little House on the Prairie season 2 on Netflix? Are we 100% getting more?

Well, the first thing that we obviously need to say here is that there is a clear thirst for more of this literary world already. The source material is iconic, and this new show represents an attempt for the streaming service to get into a world that has been beloved for generations. Here is how the streaming service describes it at present:

Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.

Now, here is where we get to some of the good news: The series is officially coming back for more! Netflix confirmed this prior to the first season even getting the green light and by virtue of that, we really just hhave to hope for some other news regarding when it will premiere before too long.

From where we sit, one thing does feel simple: It would be foolish to make fans of the property wait more than a year. You have a young cast and with that, you of course have to be mindful of how quickly they will age. Also, we do think a lot of Netflix shows suffer from having huge gaps between seasons. Hopefully even more news comes out sooner rather than later and we want this show to bring escapism, emotional moments, and a whole lot more. Also, hopefully the viewership for season 1 is really strong and we get a number of seasons moving forward.
