The Resident season 3 episode 10 looks to be all sorts of epic. What’s the bad news? Well, you’re going to have to wait a while in order to see it. How long? Think in terms of a couple of weeks! This is the fall finale, and this is where everything hits the fan in some unprecedented ways.
In the video below, you can get a reasonably good sense of what is coming up next. Take, for example, a showdown that has been brewing for a while with Dr. Barrett Cain on one side of it and Dr. Bell the other. The main source of tension for the two seems to be some of Cain’s practices, which he uses for the sake of his own glory and the hospital board’s happiness. What’s one of them? Keeping patients alive. He’s doing that with braindead patients — and Bell’s going to have a problem with it. He’s going to try to get the board involved, but doing that is a little bit challenging when, in Dr. Cain’s own words, the board loves him. Who are they going to side with?
Here’s another thing to throw in there — Bell’s decision to leave the CEO position and go back to Chief of Surgery. He’s already circumvented some of the traditional rules that go along with the job and there are going to be problems with that. He doesn’t exactly have a lot of support on his side now; that much is clear.
As for what else is coming on The Resident fall finale, remember this — we don’t think that Conrad is out of the woods just yet. There are going to be some more problems that come his way, whether it be now or at some other point down the road. We have to be prepared for everything that comes our way in this episode … including the possibility of some sort of enormous cliffhanger. Brace yourselves for that now!
