Is All Rise new tonight on CBS? More season 1 episode scoop

All Rise

Is All Rise new tonight on CBS? Within this article, we break some of that down — and also present some of what the future could be.

Let’s get the bad news out of the way now, since we’re sure that there are plenty of people who were hoping for more new episodes tonight — that’s not happening. Instead, All Rise is heading off the air for a week. Luckily, this isn’t a case of the show being done for the calendar year as many others are. Instead, it’ll be back with some more stories before you know it. There are two more still coming, and that includes a holiday-themed episode that will show how someone like Lola gets to celebrate the season. Unfortunately, there are still going to be some other issues that she also has to deal with, mostly because of the fact that All Rise is never going to be a show that offers up much peace and quiet.

Let’s go ahead and share some additional details from the next two episodes to get you all the more excited.

Episode 10, “Dripsy” (December 9) – “Dripsy” – Lola exercises a rarely used judicial power when she fires a lawyer for failing to provide a robust defense for his client. Also, Mark’s dad, Vic (Tony Denison), is arrested for murder, on ALL RISE, Monday, Dec. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

Episode 11, “The Joy from Oz” (December 16) – “The Joy From Oz” – Amid holiday parties, Lola must defend herself before the Commission on Judicial Performance after a complaint is made against her. Also, Judge Lisa Benner enlists Sara, Emily and Luke in staging a “Wizard of Oz”-themed mock trial for the children of Hall of Justice employees, in which Dorothy is on trial for killing the wicked witch, on ALL RISE, Monday, Dec. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

We’re not sure that we would expect some sort of cliffhanger with the Christmas episode, mostly because CBS doesn’t really spend a lot of time on fall/midseason finales. Instead, their emphasis is just more on telling good stories and if there’s a cliffhanger, so be it.
