Want to get the All American season 2 episode 9 return date over at The CW, coupled with some talk on what the future could hold? Then you’ve come to the right spot!
Let’s start, though, by getting some of the bad news out of the way … there is no new episode airing next week. Unfortunately, the same can be said for the week after. With tonight being the last episode of the calendar year, you’re going to be forced to wait until January to see some of what’s next from the football drama — which is, of course, about so much more than football.
So when will you get to see All American back? There’s no official premiere date as of this writing (though that could change later tonight). With that being said, the Futon Critic reported that the series could’ve returned on Monday, January 20 with new episodes. There is still a lot of this story left to tell thanks to an expanded episode order, though we do still imagine that the story is going to run its course before we get around to March.
As for the long-term future of the show, that’s the next order of business here…
The current state of the ratings
As of right now, there is a little bit of hope for the show’s future on The CW. After all, the season to date is drawing a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and then more than 700,000 total viewers a week. These are slight increases compared to the first season of the show, and that gives us a little bit of hope for the series’ future.
Yet, we do think the network is going to take its time in order to figure some of this out. How long are we talking? Well, let’s just say that we’ll be lucky if we hear about a renewal, one way or another, before we get around to the spring. Patience, and a lot of live viewing, is going to be essential here.
