NCIS season 17 episode 10: When will promo be released?

We know already that there’s a lot to be excited about with NCIS season 17 episode 10. Think in terms of Ziva’s return! Yet, in the midst of all this excitement, we also know that there’s a serious need for patience.

Think in terms of this — at the moment, there is no promo for this episode. The same goes for an official synopsis. What is CBS up to here? They’re probably just waiting for the right time to release it, and that “right time” may be after we get through this weekend. They’re smart enough to recognize that news sometimes gets sucked into a vortex on Thanksgiving weekend, especially with people traveling and doing a wide array of other stuff.

When it comes to the synopsis, we do at least expect that there will be some details out over the next week or so. There’s no major reason to keep things under wraps there, unless you’re trying to hide some sort of secret guest star alongside Cote de Pablo. (If you are trying to keep us from learning about them, though, there’s an easy solution — don’t include them in the press release.)

As for the promo, we’d be surprised if there is anything available before the night of Tuesday, December 10 — one week prior to Ziva’s return coming on the air. Typically, the trend for CBS is that they offer up their promos a good week or so prior to the given episode airing. Maybe they’ll make an exception and do it earlier given that this is Ziva’s return and it’s also the holiday episode (a.k.a. the final one of the calendar year) … but we don’t want to be in the position of offering up any guarantees.

Just remember that after this episode airs, there will be more to sink your teeth into regarding Ziva — Cote will return for the first episode of 2020, airing on January 7!
