9-1-1 season 3 episode 10 promo: Bobby’s shock; Santa chaos!

911 season 2

9-1-1 season 3 episode 10 is poised to arrive on Fox this coming Monday, and this is set up to be an episode almost like no other. After all, this is the fall finale! It’s the Christmas episode, an opportunity in order to see the show’s signature spin on the holiday. What that more or less means is that you’ll have a chance to see rescues themed around the holiday season — with a number of them being especially amusing.

Take, for example, seeing someone turning blue in what seems to be a recreation of either Arrested Development or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Or, seeing something happen to Santa Claus. This is not the same sort of predicament that you’re used to seeing from Jolly Old St. Nick!

As much fun as this storyline is going to be, though, know this — we’re also poised to have a great deal of drama and high stakes coming up, as well! There will be some storylines coming in this episode that are character-specific, with some of them leading towards a possible cliffhanger or two. Given that 9-1-1 likely knew from the moment the writers’ room opened that there would be a big midseason cliffhanger, that allowed the writers an opportunity to tell however many unique stories that they wanted in this space. Maddie’s going to go through some stuff in this episode that could have a huge bearing on her future, and Bobby is going to receive some sort of stunning news.

In the end, the best way to describe this is “an episode that you’re going to want to see live.” You don’t want to miss it, or just have some really rude person spoil things for you after the fact. Since when would that be fun?
