Is Legacies new tonight on The CW? The season 2 future
We don’t want to waste too much time here before getting to the bad news. There is no new installment coming on the air tonight, with the reason for it being rather simple: It’s Thanksgiving! This is a chance to spend some time with friends and loved ones. Basically, what we’re trying to say here is rather simple: The CW doesn’t want to risk the ratings for one of their popular shows by throwing it on the air during a holiday.
Yet, there’s a lot of stuff worth looking forward to this year — think along the lines of two new episodes airing on December 5 and then, after the fact, December 12. These are going to answer some new questions, but also set the stage for some other great stuff moving into the new year.
So while you do wait for these two episodes to come on the air, why not check out some further details below?
Season 2 episode 7, “It Will All Be Painfully Clear Soon Enough” (December 5) – THE RACE TO CLOSE THE MALIVORE PORTAL – After deciding that leaving town would be for the best, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) gets pulled back in after Josie (Kaylee Bryant) comes up with a risky plan to close the Malivore portal. Elsewhere, Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Dorian (guest star Demetrius Bridges) make an alarming discovery about Professor Vardemus (guest star Alexis Denisof), while Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) learns some upsetting news about Landon’s (Aria Shahghasemi) future. Jenny Boyd also stars. Lauren Petzke directed the episode written by Jimmy Mosqueda & Cynthia Adarkwa (#207). Original airdate 12/5/2019.
Season 2 episode 8, “This Christmas Was Surprisingly Violent” (December 12) – THE RACE TO CLOSE THE MALIVORE PORTAL – After deciding that leaving town would be for the best, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) gets pulled back in after Josie (Kaylee Bryant) comes up with a risky plan to close the Malivore portal. Elsewhere, Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Dorian (guest star Demetrius Bridges) make an alarming discovery about Professor Vardemus (guest star Alexis Denisof), while Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) learns some upsetting news about Landon’s (Aria Shahghasemi) future. By the end of the calendar year, we’re expecting more answers as to some of the biggest threats within the world of this show. Not only that, but we imagine that there will be some romantic revelations as well.
