Outlander season 5: What else could be revealed in 2019?

So far this week, Starz has already gifted us some fun little tidbits on  Outlander season 5. Take, for example, an image featuring Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin! There was also a separate image shared featuring Sam and Caitriona that should make all fans of Jamie and Claire rather pleased. These are nice little teases, and they give us all something to relish now as we inch ever closer to the show’s February 16 return date.

So what else can we expect at some point before the calendar year concludes? We know that it’s the holiday season and there’s a lot of different stuff going on; yet, at the same time we imagine that they will still want some other stuff going on. Take a look at some examples of it.

1. More photos – We think that this is one of the easiest ways for the series to promote itself. It doesn’t take a lot of time to share them, and they do generate a little buzz and excitement.

2. Some holiday greetings – Whether it be for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Year’s Day, we imagine that we could see some teases featuring Sam, Caitriona, Richard, and Sophie at some point.

3. Another teaser – We could see either a small scene from the season 5 premiere or another 25-30 second clip coming out as a way to tide everyone over. Wouldn’t it be the perfect gift for a lot of fans of the show this holiday season?

4. A proper trailer – We’re not super-confident that we’re going to see this sort of thing happen at some point before the end of the year, but wouldn’t it be nice? The main reason that Starz may wait until early January is that they don’t want things to get a little bit lost amidst everything else that they have going on. Still, it’s fun to think about.
