Fuller House season 5: Is there any hope for Olsen Twins cameo?
Yet, is it really something to be hopeful about at all? We think it’s a worthy question just because it’s the end of the series. Yet, at the same time, they’ve never showed a whole lot of interest in a cameo before.
From the very beginning, the writers, producers, and even the cast of Fuller House have made it clear that they would love to see Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen back as Michelle. The issue has always been with the twins themselves. They haven’t acted in years, and after building an empire as kids, they’ve soon moved over into the fashion business. Their lives are a little more out of the public eye these days, and they’re in a position where they can do whatever they want right now.
One other thing to remember here is timing — both in terms of the twins’ schedule and then also where they were in their lives when they first filmed Full House. When they were on the show, they were extremely young. Who knows how much of it they really remember in comparison to Candace Cameron Bure or Jodie Sweetin? The show may have been more formative for the two of them and the Olsen Twins went on do a number of other ventures that they may remember more prominently. This may just not be front of mind.
If we were the producers, we would’ve at least put out one final request for Mary-Kate and Ashley to appear in the series finale. It doesn’t hurt to put it out there, right/ In the end, though, we don’t expect anything to materialize and that’s okay. The best thing that you can do is try.
Remember this, as mentioned earlier– the December 6 premiere of Fuller House is for the first half of the season. The second half, including the series finale, is going to premiere in 2020.
