Lucifer season 5 is currently deep in production on new episodes — not only that, we’ve learned half of the episode titles!
Yet, as the Netflix series is moving into the final batch of episodes, it seems as though the writers’ room is taking a slightly different approach. What is that? Think in terms of hiding the episode 9 title altogether! In a post on Twitter, the writers confirmed that they will not be releasing the title for episode 9 for one reason and one reason only: Too many spoilers. The show wants to keep an element of mystery moving into episode 9, which will more than likely premiere months after the first half of the season airs.

So while we don’t have any news on the episode 9 title at the moment, it does appear as though there is some other good news coming. What is it? Think along the lines of a surprise tomorrow. (Yet, if we know that something is coming, is it really all that much of a surprise at all?) Maybe this will be a short teaser, a script page, or some behind-the-scenes fun featuring the cast and producers.
No matter what it is, we are excited to get something more on Lucifer season 5 as we enter the Thanksgiving holiday. Given how long it still is until the show premieres on Netflix, we’re going to need a lot of little teasers to make it through the hiatus! There’s also more hype when you consider the way that season 4 ended, with Lucifer decided to go back to Hell in order to restore at least some semblance of order there.
