Empire season 6 episode 9 spoilers: Will Cookie serve Lucious?
Interested in learning a thing or two about Empire season 6 episode 9 and what’s ahead? Well, let’s just start things off with this: You’re actually going to see Lucious and Cookie Lyon come together. Does this mean that they will actually be in sync? We wouldn’t say that (the promo did show Cookie serving Lucious divorce papers), but this episode (entitled “Remember the Music”) could be a far cry from some of the other stuff we’ve seen lately.

Hakeem raises concerns over Lucious’ changes to the Empire movie script, causing Lucious and Cookie to come together to recount the events that lead to the evolution of Empire. Andre turns to Kelly Patel to help him gain controlling interest in the company, as Teri grows increasingly suspicious of Andre’s role in signing Prophet the Poet. Meanwhile, Bossy Media considers taking on a silent partner to help with their financial issues and Philly Street confronts Lucious about the info he received from White Tracy in the all-new “Remember the Music” episode of EMPIRE airing Tuesday, Dec. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. We’re getting closer to the end of the first part of this season and because of that, we gotta think that some of these stories are going to escalate. To us, Andre’s is the most entertaining. When Lucious was gone, he had an opportunity to turn Empire more into the company that he wanted it to be. He had more in the way of control and saw opportunities to do things in what he felt was the best possible way. Unfortunately, he’s now facing off against a steamroller of a father, someone who wants what he wants and doesn’t always care what the consequences are. That’s a lot for any person to have to deal with. (We do wonder if all of this is going to lead to Andre trying to kill his dad, but we don’t need Empire to wade into the same exact waters time and time again.)
