NCIS season 17 spoilers: New Wilmer Valderrama filming teases
Let’s start things off with this — are Torres and some other characters hitting a beach? That seems to be what was suggested in Wilmer’s Instagram Story yesterday. Unfortunately, said story is no longer available, but we suppose that the cast/crew went down to a SoCal beach in order to recreate one close to the Washington DC area. Typically, we imagine that any cast member would welcome a chance to hang out by the ocean … but it’s actually a colder week here in California, and may be even colder down by the water.

As for today, Wilmer’s also teased that he, Sean Murray, and Emily Wickersham are present at what appears to be some sort of farm or ranch — after all, Wilmer joked that his co-star for the day was a horse. This, ironically, is not the first time that horses have had a role to play on this show, but we’ll see how this one ends up factoring in. As of right now, you have to imagine that the cast is working on installments for either January or February. December 17 is the final one of the calendar year, and we have to believe that this one (which features the return of Cote de Pablo as Ziva) has already been filmed.
So what do we want to see from the episodes that don’t include Cote coming up? For Wilmer, we want some more great scenes with himself and Wickersham as the Torres/Bishop relationship continues to evolve. We think that there was a snag that turned up in the Ellick ‘ship courtesy of his “you’re like a sister to me” remark, but that was just one of those comments he clearly made because he was afraid to explain his true feelings. There’s a chance that we could see a larger confession before long; the main question there is simply when.
