Dancing with the Stars season 28 finale: Who could win?

Dancing with the Stars

Entering Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars 28 finale, we know that the pressure is heightened. There are four Stars left and in terms of dance ability, a pretty even field. There is no obvious performer who sticks out like a sore thumb!

Yet, is there still a clear favorite? That’s what we want to do our best in order to point out here! Below, you can see where we’ve personally ranked everyone heading into Monday night’s new episode. What’s the criteria? We’re thinking with past voting history first and foremost, but also factoring in dance ability plus the campaigns that we can see forming around everyone entering the final chapter for the season.

4. Ally Brooke – She’s been perhaps the best overall dancer of the final four the past few weeks, but she’s also been in the bottom multiple times. None of this suggests that she’s got a large-enough fan base to take home the grand prize. She is talented, though, and this show should be a nice boost to her career.

3. Kel Mitchell – Despite being in the bottom fairly early on in the competition, Kel’s had a great resurgence and gotten better and better as time’s gone on. He would be a great winner solely from an entertainment standpoint, as he’s brought so much variety to the show from start to finish. Yet, we just don’t know if he’s got the same following or potential following as the top two.

2. Lauren Alaina – The country singer has a huge voting block behind her, and we know that country fans in general have a history of working to support their own. While she’s been in danger before, as well, there’s something about Lauren’s journey that has been incredibly appealing — she’s been even more likable on this show than her first go-around on American Idol.

1. Hannah Brown – It’s hard to view the competition right now any other way. We’re talking here about one of the biggest names in Bachelor Nation and also the only remaining contestant to never be in danger. While scores matter a lot on this show, we’ve come to know that viewer votes rule the day. She’s got that right now, so she has to have the inside track in the end.
