The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 sneak peek: Dante’s instructions

Walking Dead season 8

As we enter The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 this weekend, there’s a strong smell of duplicity in the air. How else can you even explain it at the moment? We now know the truth about Dante, and how he is working the Alexandria community from the inside.

In the video sneak peek below, you can get a sense as to how this entire plan comes together … and also more of the sinister handiwork of Alpha overall. She makes it very clear some of the things that she wants him to do, whether it be working to enter the community, communicate back, or also find little ways to sabotage. Her thinking is that the more that they suffer, the more that it brings her closer to being able to do more of what they wanted.

Within this midseason finale, we’re going to see more of Alpha’s plan start to become clear, and also with that, more in terms of what the future could look like. We know that there’s a war brewing, and we’re hoping that there will be some steps taken within this episode to spotlight the carnage further. We also know that there’s life after the Whisperers for some of these characters and while we don’t think it’s something that needs to be thought about anytime soon, it’s still something we’ve got circling around in our head. This arc has turned out probably better than we could’ve even expected, thanks mostly to the terrifying greatness of one Samantha Morton.

No matter what happens within this The Walking Dead episode, let’s just hope that it’s enough to satisfy for a good while — more than likely, there will not be an episode after this until February. We know that Better Call Saul will be pairing off its premiere with a new episode of the zombie drama.
