Over the past several weeks, what we’ve had a chance to see is an escalation of conflict. Alpha has some axes to grind, and we certainly know that there are many significant vendettas that are out there when it comes to Carol towards Alpha. She is not letting anything go in regards to the leader of the Whisperers, and she is probably going to do everything that she can if there is an opportunity to take her down.

A fight causes tensions in Oceanside while the Alexandrians set out on a high-stakes mission.
Following this episode of The Walking Dead, we’re not going to be seeing a new episode on the air for quite a while — think in terms of February, most likely. That’s what makes the events of this particular episode so paramount. It needs to pay off the arc that we’ve seen the past several weeks, and also set the stage for what the second half of the season is going to look like.
Based on what happened on tonight’s new episode with Siddiq, we think that the bar has been set and the stakes have been raised for more bloodshed. you even get a sense of at least some of it in the promo below … courtesy of Judith. Yep. You read that right. You’ve got Judith, you’ve got Oceanside, and all signs point towards this being a heck of a midseason finale.
