The Flash season 6 spoilers: Who is Eva McCulloch?
So what do we know about her? According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Efrat Dor (Mayans MC) will be a series regular for the second half of the season as the aforementioned character. She’ll turn up following the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, and she’s going to have a pretty significant role to play in the story of one Iris West-Allen. Here’s the official character description now:
“A quantum engineer and co-founder of McCulloch Technologies, Eva McCulloch is a scientific genius who works on the bleeding edge. Eva has been away from Central City for many years. But a chance meeting with Iris West-Allen results in a surprising alliance that pushes the boundaries of sanity, while also uncovering a vast conspiracy to take down Team Flash and its allies.”
Is there a comic-book connection involving Eva? Well, Evan McCulloch just so happens to be the second version of Mirror Master in the source material. Whether or not Eva goes in that same direction remains to be seen, but we’ve long felt as though the original Mirror Master on The Flash never quite got his due. It’s hard to really bring the first version back for all that long, though, given that Grey Damon is now a major part of Station 19 and he can’t quite do both shows at the same time.
There is of course more that we want to know about this character, but it’s admittedly hard to get all of the info. Go ahead and blame the Crisis on Infinite Earths mystery for that. Because nobody wants to spoil what happens to Barry, there’s only going to be so much information spilled from now until the crossover happens.
