Fuller House season 5 trailer: The beginning of the end

Fuller House

Are you ready for Fuller House season 5 to arrive on the air? We hope so, given that the December 6 premiere date is just a couple of weeks away.

In order to get you a little bit more excited, Netflix released today the first official trailer for what lies ahead. As you would imagine, there is a lot of fun to be had for Kimmy, Stephanie, and then also of course DJ. There is also potential for a little bit of romance here, as well. Just think about it like this — Jimmy and Stephanie are engaged, and we have to imagine that there will be some comedy that goes along with that. Also, let’s not forget that they are new parents. One of the more notable stories in the new season seems to be that she is struggling with Jimmy being away so much — meaning mostly that she’ll be reliant on DJ and Kimmy more for help. Jimmy may not mean anything bad, but there may be some more conversations that the two need to have on the subject.

Elsewhere in the new season, DJ will be celebrating a number of the good things in her life, while at the same rejoicing in what’s happening right now at the vet clinic. Everything seems to be going great for her at the moment, but that means that there will be some sort of struggle bubbling underneath the surface somewhere.

Meanwhile, be prepared to see some old-school Full House faces like Bob Saget and John Stamos — we’d love to see the Olsen Twins turn up, but at this point, that seems to be pretty unlikely. We wouldn’t expect an appearance from Lori Loughlin, mostly because it feels like the show is going to shift away from that controversy as much as possible. (We still feel as though Aunt Becky is, somehow, going to be referenced.)

One more thing to remember here entering this season — there are going to be two halves to Full House season 5. The first half will air in the winter; meanwhile, the second half will likely be on Netflix within the first half of 2020.
