At the end of the first half of How to Get Away with Murder season 6, we had several shocks that are going to be felt for some time. Yet, we have a feeling that none of them will be as shocking as the news that Wes is (seemingly) still alive.

We’ve already heard a (number) of fun theories out there about the character. Take, for example, the ones that claim that this is actually a dream sequence, or that Wes somehow has a twin, or that this is actually a long flash-forward and we’re seeing a grown-up version of Christopher. No matter the theory, it does appear as though “Wes” has a significant role to play to the series’ overall endgame. Speaking on the subject via TVLine, executive producer Pete Nowalk makes it clear that Alfred Enoch’s character “definitely factors into our series ending in a big way.” With that, we gotta imagine that we will see more of him beyond just another couple of scenes.
As for one of the other big surprises within the fall finale, Nowalk also indicates that there’s going to be more information about Laurel’s disappearance, and apparently whatever Tegan did to help make sure she’s okay:
“You’ll find out why Tegan helped Laurel, and also why Tegan kept it a secret for so long, especially from Annalise …. it’s also going to be fun to see how Frank reacts when he hears this.”
Laurel claims that she’s not tied to the FBI, so is she with Wes somehow? What role is she going to play in the endgame? There are a lot of different things that we’re looking forward to seeing … and the hard part is going to be waiting for them.
How do you think Wes is somehow still around on How to Get Away with Murder this season?
