New Amsterdam season 2 episode 10 return date hopes on NBC
At the moment, the #1 thing to remember is that tonight was the fall finale — because of this very fact, there aren’t any more episodes coming this calendar year. That’s one of the reasons why a show like this has big cliffhangers — it’s an opportunity for them to wrap some stories up but then also tease others.
Ultimately, there is no official return date as of this writing for New Amsterdam, but we imagine that some more information will be disclosed very soon. According to the Futon Critic, it appears as though the series will be back on Tuesday, January 14 with new episodes — that makes at least a good bit of sense, at least when you think a little bit about some of what’s going on in regards to This Is Us beforehand.
As for some of what’s going to be coming within the next batch of episodes, we would imagine that you will continue to see Max Goodwin do his best to heal — sure, there is the physical healing that needs to be done after what transpired with his cancer, but there is also still that emotional healing. There is that difficult that comes from being a single father and trying to find a way to make things work.
In general, we imagine that recovery is going to be a big part of the second half of this season, especially when Dr. Bloom is still going through a lot of it in her own way. Then, there is also the recovery of a lot of individual patients, who will of course continue to be a big part of the show from start to finish. This is a lot of what makes New Amsterdam the series that it is.
Update: We can now confirm that New Amsterdam is going to be returning to NBC on January 14.
