Madam Secretary season 6 episode 8 spoilers: Impeachment proceedings
Below, CarterMatt has the full Madam Secretary season 6 episode 8 synopsis with some more information all about what’s coming:
“Ships and Countries” – When an American tech CEO goes missing in a foreign country, Elizabeth navigates complicated diplomatic terrain to get him back without triggering a regional conflict. Also, things get personal when Stevie and Henry testify at House impeachment proceedings, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Nov. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
So how are we going to be seeing Elizabeth survive this … or are we? We want to obviously believe that she can, given that this is a story largely about hope and various characters working to find their way to work through some incredibly-dark times. It’s not always easy, but in the end, you want to hope that everyone can persevere and then make it through to the other side.
The thing that’s probably the most upsetting about episode 8, other than of course the subject matter, is where it lies within the episode order. After you check this out, after all, there is only going to be two more installments. Filming recently wrapped up on the series finale and because of that, we have to prepare for every single step of Madam Secretary, the rest of the way, to be an emotional one. Our hope is that the series finale ends with Elizabeth continuing her presidency, with the support of at least most of the American people on her side. There’s no way to please everyone, but we think that Elizabeth probably knows that already.
