‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: What’s up with Bonnie?
Thus far on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, it’s pretty easy to say that Kat Graham’s character of Bonnie Bennett has not really had that much to do. However, this is all going to change courtesy of the arrival of David Alpay’s new character in Professor Shane, who is going to have some pretty interesting connections to both the world of Bonnie’s family and the world of witchcraft, so with this very thing in mind, we are going to have a pretty interesting arc coming up for her.
We don’t really know just yet where this story will end up leading, but this new photo from the upcoming sixth episode of the season (entitled “We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes”) airing in mid-November shows that she and Shane are going to end up in a rather interesting place together. We don’t know what they are up to, but the two parties are definitely not afraid to show that they are communicating with each other out in the open.
We’ve said for several weeks now that there is a part of us interested in seeing if Bonnie is going to take a walk on the dark side, and given the title of this episode and the fact that she really doesn’t have too many people to turn to anymore. She’s already lost her grandmother, so what else could ultimately be holding her back at this point in time?
What do you think about this photo, and are there any sort of specific stories that you want to see from Bonnie this season? Be share your thoughts below! If you want to check out the latest sneak peek from the show featuring Damon and Stefan, you can do so over at the link here.

I think that if Bonnie learns to make the spirits serve HER rather then be subordinate to them, it will be an interesting turn for her. She has already demonstrated the potential to be very powerful and the confidence that she is getting from the prof., even though it comes from his own ulterior motives, is helping that move along. The challenges ahead, and her part in this scenario of the five are the perfect threads to carry out this kind of path. Who says she can’t become more powerful then the combination of all of the witches in the story that have precede her?
