The Good Doctor season 3 episode 8 spoilers: The drama in ‘Moonshot’

The Good Doctor season 3

Coming up on The Good Doctor season 3 episode 8, what you’re going to see is actually rather simple. Through “Moonshot,” you will have an opportunity to experience a lot of romantic storytelling … but not necessarily ones that reach some sort of happy, romantic conclusion. Shaun and Carly still have a lot of work that needs to be done and the reality for the two of them is that they’ll need to be patient. They’ve got a lot of work to bridge some of their divides and get the two of them on a place where they are going to be ultimately okay.

Meanwhile, with Dr. Lim and Dr. Melendez, you’ll see the two of them face a very different sort of romantic struggle — think in terms of the two of them trying to find a way to be together while not also tipping the scales about where the two are in terms of their careers, It is a difficult balance with Lim still working as the chief of surgery:

Below, CarterMatt has the full The Good Doctor season 3 episode 8 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

Carly’s attempts at increasing her intimacy with Shaun are becoming more of a frustration than either of them expected. Meanwhile, Lim and Melendez struggle in their relationship as they work to separate their work from their personal life.

Rest assured that this won’t just be an episode revolving around romance, but this is clearly something that The Good Doctor wanted to explore this time around. We’re at the point where we know that Shaun can be a good doctor, and with that in mind, they’re now also trying to weave in as much of a personal life as possible. It gives us some of a sense of what his future could be, though at the same time, there is really no guarantee that it will end up being there in the end.
