The Orville season 3 video: Behind the scenes as production begins!
This aforementioned video courtesy of the folks over at Hulu and in it, you have a chance in order to see Scott Grimes (Gordon), plus also many of the artists behind the scenes working on everything that needs to be done. That includes designing the Moclans, getting the set design together, and doing all of the fancy, handcrafted things that make this show so special. It’s science fiction that tries not to cut corners, and that is a big part of why we appreciate it so much.

Unfortunately, videos like this are probably the only things that we’re going to see from The Orville season 3 for the span of the next several months. The show is likely to return with new episodes in the fall of next year, and this is one of the reasons why it isn’t coming onto Fox anymore. We know that this wait is going to be both long and difficult, but also think that’s going to be very much worth it based on the overall quality that we’ve had a chance to see in the past.
Story-wise, we imagine that most of the finer details will remain under wraps … but it will be nice to see some more adventures featuring Captain Ed Mercer and the rest of the crew as they take on various threats, while also dealing with complicated personal matters.
