The Flash season 6 episode 7 spoilers: The midseason finale begins
But, for now, episode 7 (entitled “The Past Temptation of Barry Allen, Part 1”) will have some challenges of its own. Take, for example, a showdown between Barry and then also Dr. Ramsey Rosso, who at this point is now full-on in Bloodwork mode. Check out the synopsis below:
PART ONE OF THE MID-SEASON FINALE – As Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) stands on the threshold of his impending death in Crisis, his convictions are tested when the monstrous Dr. Ramsey Rosso (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy) infects The Flash with a mysterious, hallucinogenic contagion. Meanwhile, reporter Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) uncovers a vast conspiracy. Chad Lowe directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#607). Original airdate 11/26/2019.
Odds are, the Bloodwork story will be done before the crossover, but there may be some lessons that Barry learns through it about mortality and accepting fate … but also hopefully understanding that there are things that can always change. Just because the headlines say what they do doesn’t mean that he has to disappear. even if he does, there’s always a chance that he could come back. We don’t think that anything is as stringent as it seems, but Barry’s definitely doing the right thing in preparing just about everyone for whatever could be coming down the road.
It’s great for Crisis on Infinite Earths to be coming — let’s just hope that The Flash remembers itself along the way. It has to serve both its own story and the larger crossover.
