Roswell, New Mexico, Legends of Tomorrow premiere dates revealed!
Let’s start things off with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which makes sense in our head given that this is one of our favorite shows on all of television, period. The good news is that it will be airing in January — Tuesday, January 21 to be precise, starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time after Arrow. The bizarre thing is that the week after, Arrow will have a two-hour finale event the following week. Does that mean that the premiere exists somewhat on an island?
One other thing worth noting for the moment — Legends of Tomorrow is going to be a part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, so there will “technically” be an episode of Legends of Tomorrow prior to the premiere airing. Confusing much? Anyway, we’re just glad that the Waverider will be back in action, even if we are frustrated that it means the end for Ray Palmer and Nora Darhk as major characters on the series.
As for some other premiere date news…
Roswell, New Mexico – The second season of the reboot-of-sorts will launch on Monday, March 16 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, where it will air after the final season of Supernatural — which is shifting timeslots, as well, something that it’s more than used to doing during its run. Whether or not Roswell succeeds here is to be determined, but there is certainly a passionate following out there of folks who want it to succeed.
Katy Keene – Finally, let’s turn to the much-discussed Riverdale spin-off starring Lucy Hale. It will be premiering on Thursday, February 6, where it will launch prior to the start of Legacies. This makes up an interesting new Thursday lineup of spin-offs meant to cater to young viewers. Will this prove to be a success on the level of Riverdale? Time will tell.
What shows are you the most excited to see coming up on The CW this midseason?
