Supernatural season 15 episode 4 spoilers: The story of ‘Proverbs 17:3’
Before we dive into anything else when it comes to this episode, let’s just spend a moment on the episode title itself. Proverbs 17:3 reads as follows: “The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart.” What that means in the context of this series is still in the category of “to be determined.” Yet, we know that there is quite a connection between Supernatural and religion — just as all of you do, as well. The mystery that remains here is mostly one of how — namely, how religion is going to factor into parts of this show at just about any given moment.
Want some other information? Below, CarterMatt has the full Supernatural season 15 episode 4 synopsis with some more scoop as to what is coming up next:
RICHARD SPEIGHT, JR. DIRECTS – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) routine case turns out to be anything but. Richard Speight, Jr. directed the episode written by Steve Yockey (#1505). Original Airdate 11/14/2019.
As you can tell from reading this, for whatever reason Supernatural is choosing to keep almost everything under wraps here for as long as they can. They want to find a way in order to ensure that the central twist remains guarded, and who knows? Maybe it ends up tying into some other parts of the show moving forward.
No matter, we’re going to be a quarter of the way through the final season at the time that this episode concludes. With that in mind, we have to think that the writers have a pretty good sense already of what the stakes are for their stories, and then also of course how to deal with them.
