Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 8 spoilers: Meredith vs. the board

There are a lot of things worth bringing up here about Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 7 next week, but most importantly this — it’s the 350th episode! While that may not be considered to some as big of a milestone as #300 or what #400 will be, it’s a really huge deal. There are so few shows that make it to this point, and still have an audience anywhere near as wide as the Ellen Pompeo series does.

Given that this episode is so enormous, we don’t think that it will be surprising to anyone that Grey’s Anatomy is going to be dishing out a big story in “My Shot.” This is going to be a chance for Meredith to figure out, one way or another, whether she will continue to be a doctor. While she may have already served her time in prison, that doesn’t mean that she is A-Okay in the eyes of the medical board. There are some other challenges that she’s going to have to contend with there.

“My Shot” – Meredith faces the medical board as her future as a doctor remains uncertain, and she’s forced to reckon with her past in some challenging ways. Meanwhile, the interns are put to the test as they are each vying to be the most successful on their respective cases in the absence of some of the attendings on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOV. 14 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app or Hulu.

Could there be a 400th episode at some point down the road? Well, we know that there’s at least one more season after this, but the series would need to get a season 18 in order to get there. The ball could lie in Ellen Pompeo’s court when it comes to this decision.
