We know that there are going to be two more episodes, at least, featuring Cote de Pablo on NCIS season 17. To go along with that, we also know that the next appearance from the actress as Ziva David is going to be coming during the Christmas episode. Isn’t that exciting?

Well, if that bit of hype wasn’t enough for you, also consider this: There will be some more opportunities in order to see a high-stakes case that brings Ziva to the team. That’s at least the implication that we’re at least getting courtesy of what Diona Reasonover told Pop Culture in a new interview:
“It is going to be, once again, through the case, so you can take a wild guess how much time Kasie spends fanning out, but it’s interesting … We did see her fan out with Abby (Pauley Perrette). I know people are sometimes like, ‘Why were you like this with Abby and not with Ziva?’ I’m like, well, with Abby, there was kind of a case, but it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my gosh, someone is absolutely going to be murdered right now.’ With Ziva, it’s always been kind of life-or-death stakes.
“Cote brings a different energy to the show. Especially this particular Ziva who’s kind of got anxiety, and just everything is life or death. So it just really made the stakes just go whoosh up. That was very cool.”
Will there be a few moments with Ziva coming up that are a little more relaxed than last time? It’s possible, mostly because it is the holiday season and we know that this often allows for opportunities for people to sit back and relax a little bit. Of course, it may be a slightly different situation for Ziva since she is trying to get back to her family, including Tony and her daughter Tali. That’s more of when she can actually let her guard down.
