The Masked Singer season 2: Raven-Symone revealed as Black Widow

Entering tonight’s second episode of The Masked Singer, we were of course met with questions galore … but also ambiguity. A LOT of ambiguity. It felt like the Penguin was the consensus pick to be unmasked the first time around, whereas in the second hour, we came bearing some more questions. More than anything, though, we just hoped that there would be some great performances. So long as we had that, we knew the end result was going to be satisfying.

In the end, the second reveal tonight was that of the Black Widow, and this one was pretty clear from the start: It was none other than Raven-Symone under that mask! Why was it so obvious? A lot of it had to do with the clues from the start claiming that she was a former child star and with that, someone who was looking to shake up her image? There were only so many different people who she could have been so, in the end, there’s nothing about what we saw tonight that surprised us.

The only surprise was that it was the Black Widow who went now, given that the judges seemed to be fairly impressed with her throughout the season.
