The Masked Singer season 2: The Penguin revealed as Sherri Shepherd!

Tonight on The Masked Singer, we’re getting two hours’ worth of excellent performances! With that, though, it also means that we’re (rather unfortunately) going to have two celebrities unmasked.

We’ll have another update coming later on tonight but, for the sake of this article, let’s highlight the Pegnuin — the person who was unmasked at the end of the episode tonight! What we’ve come to know about the Penguin this season is that she’s a comedian, she’s used to controversy, and she’s been told at times that her career was over. She’s funny, but unfortunately, she’s not the best singer in the world. She doesn’t have the same vocal abilities as everyone else.

So who is the Penguin? Going into the episode, there were a lot of theories out there suggesting that she was Sherri Shepherd. A number of the different clues out there made sense, and even though some didn’t, the collective internet tends to do a pretty good job at being right.

When The Penguin was unmasked in the end, we can’t say that we were altogether shocked. Really, we’re just happy that Sherri had the opportunity to take part in a crazy series like this to begin with!
