‘Project Runway’: Heidi Klum cancels Halloween bash due to Hurricane Sandy
While there are always thousands of Halloween parties that happen across the country every year, we are not sure that there is one that we look forward to more than the bash hosted by Heidi Klum. After all, the “Project Runway” host has proven herself time and time again to throw some crazy parties, and has dressed up as everything from a gorilla to a ten-foot-fall robot to even her very own muscular system.
This would have been Klum’s first party of this sort since she and musician Seal divorced one another, but the sad news breaking now is that the event is simply not happening at all. What’s the reason behind this? Based on a new post on Klum’s Twitter account, it really appears to be pretty clear that Hurricane Sandy in New York City is to blame:
“Canceling my Halloween party… postponing to a haunted Christmas.”
In the event that the party had actually occurred, it appears based on the photographic evidence that Klum was actually planning on attending the event as Cleopatra. It’s a great costume, though we do still wonder why with a good many of Klum’s costumes she wants to wear stilts. (We’re at least assuming that she is here; she know she is tall, but that tall?)
Klum recently wrapped her latest season of the Lifetime reality show, which will surely return for another go in 2013 after another run of the spin-off series “Project Runway All-Stars.” Another fashion-oriented series in “Fashion Star” will return to NBC early next year with new episodes.
Is this one of your favorite celebrity parties just for the sake of photos alone?
