Kate Flannery eliminated over Dancing with the Stars; Sean Spicer stays

Tonight, Dancing with the Stars stood on the precipice of enormous controversy. Would Sean Spicer somehow manage to stick around for another week on the series, even though all signs suggested that he really should leave? At this point, it’s just so obvious that he is the worst dancer left and it is not even close. Yet, he does also have an extremely loyal base who, one way or another, continue to fight for him to be a part of the combination.

Well, Sean was the first person declared safe … so there’s that. Also, we learned that Kel Mitchell was safe not too long after that! This was still a disappointing end given that Sean clearly is the worst of the group, and we ended up losing a much better dancer at the very end of the night in Kate Flannery. She was someone who brought a lot of humor and love to the competition, but unfortunately, we got another reminder that sometimes, the judges’ scores don’t really matter all that much. If someone proportionally gets too much love for America, there is almost nothing else that can be done.

At least Kate went out like a champ, right? What an awesome send-off!
