Power season 6 spoilers: Show boss on ‘who shot Ghost?’ theories
How else would you describe a situation where the main character ends up getting shot? “Who shot Ghost?” is the mystery at the heart of the new batch of episodes airing in early 2020, and we have a LOT of questions as to how this is all going to pay off.

On the show, there were a lineup of candidates that could be behind the trigger that shot Ghost — think along the lines of Tasha, Tariq, Tate, Saxe, Tommy, Paz, and Dre. All of them have motives, but what about some other possibilities? What about the chance that Tasha’s boyfriend Q or Ramona did it? Did Ghost hire someone to shoot him on his own to frame someone? These are all theories that are out there, but it doesn’t seem as though there is any validity to the idea.
Speaking on Power Confidential tonight, show boss Courtney A. Kemp revealed that “There’s no ‘gotcha'” when it comes to the big reveal, adding “I would despise that. That would be so messed up if I set up those suspects [and didn’t pay it off].” Our takeaway from that is that she’s not trying to set up a situation where someone comes out of nowhere and does the deed, even if there are a lot of other suspects at the moment.
What we’re getting at here is that we’ve got a limited list of suspects, and that the stage is now set for some huge stuff that is going to play out throughout the final batch of installments in the new year. We’re so excited to see what everyone feels about this cliffhanger, but to us, it’s twofold — learning who shot Ghost (we’re leaning towards Tariq), and then also if he will even survive.
