Legacies season 2 episode 6 spoilers: More on Riley Voelkel appearance

There is a good chance that you heard the news already — Riley Voelkel is going to be appearing on Legacies season 2! Today, though, we come bearing a few more bits and pieces as to just what is going to be coming up in her episode.

What is rather interesting about the Originals alum’s appearance is that we’re not going to be seeing a situation here where Freya pays a visit to Mystic Falls. Instead, it appears as though it’s going to be the other way around — someone is going to be paying Freya is a visit instead!

Remember that Freya is someone who possesses a great deal of magical ability. Because of that, whoever is visiting her is probably doing so with a very specific purpose in mind. We’ll get a chance to see that play out within this episode, and hopefully, it will set the stage for some cool stuff to coming. We have a hard time thinking that Legacies would bring back a very important person from The Originals for no real reason at all.

MYSTIC FALLS CELEBRATES COMMONWEALTH DAY / RILEY VOELKEL STARS AS FREYA – When a truth-seeking monster arrives in Mystic Falls during Commonwealth Day, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) fear that the secrets they’ve each been keeping have made them targets. Meanwhile, MG (Quincy Fouse), Kaleb (guest star Chris Lee) and Kym (guest star Ebboney Wilson) seek out an unlikely ally, who may have knowledge on how to take down the latest monster. Finally, Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) receives an unexpected visit from one of the Salvatore Students. Matthew Davis and Kaylee Bryant also star. Bola Ogun directed the episode written by Adam Higgs & Josh Eiserike (#206). Original airdate 11/21/2019.

So what else can we say about this episode at the moment? Well, for starters, a truth-seeking monster feels like one of the most dangerous characters we’ve seen on the show. Given how many secrets there are within this world, there are reasons to worry about everything at just about every turn.
