‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Is Arizona making a big leap?
On this past episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” we saw some big things in the works for Dr. Arizona Robbins as she finally started to accept the fact that a good chunk of her leg had been amputated; and thus, she was going to have to wear a prosthetic and be looked at rather differently for the rest of her life. It’s also been a transition for Callie, who has tried to be patient with her wife despite how difficult it is at times.
So when is she going to get back to work at Seattle Grace? While this is not altogether confirmed in the official description for the November 15 episode “Second Opinions” that she is coming back, it does at least look as though she is going to be taking a major step in the right direction when it comes to coming back and doing some of the work that she loves. In addition to that, there is also going to be an important story for Derek here as he realizes just how badly his hand injury could effect his surgical talents in the long-term:
“As the doctors continue with their lawsuit, they’re forced to confront the realities of their injuries. Meanwhile, Bailey tricks Arizona into helping her with a pediatric case, and Cristina tries to find normalcy in her new environment.”
This episode is going to follow an installment in “Beautiful Doom” (which airs a week from Thursday) that is certainly going to provide plenty of startling revelations of its own. After all, within this hour we are going to see Meredith and Cristina come to terms with how their friendship has changed, and also just what some of their remaining hopes and ambitions are moving forward.
Are you thrilled to potentially see Arizona getting back to work soon? If you want to check out the first promo for this “Beautiful Doom” episode, you can do so over at the link here.

Yes, I am thrilled! Arizona’s story has been both compelling and difficult to watch. So, her moving forward with her life is a huge relief for this viewer/fan. I understand that JCap worked during her maternity leave, so we are grateful to her for maintaining the continuity in Arizona’s story.
